Merchant category codes (MCCs) that range from 3300 to 3499 are reserved for car rental agencies.
This covers any business that offers temporary acquisition of cars, GPS navigation, and vehicle insurance services. Like with airlines, car rental services are assigned unique MCCs on a per-merchant basis. Examples of specific MCCs in this range include:

MCCs in this range can be at a higher risk for chargebacks than other verticals. For instance, if a customer is not satisfied with their vehicle, they might call the bank to dispute a charge.
