In the interview, Monica says that you don’t want to make the mistake of thinking you’re the smartest person in the room. At the same time, you don’t want to play too cautiously, or else you could end up missing key opportunities.
Innovation is key — There will always be another company that figures out how to do what you’re doing. You have to constantly look for new ways to challenge the status quo,” she says. “Don’t be afraid of failure — Fear will hold you back more than you realize. You have to be ready to take the plunge.”
