Chargebacks911 CEO Monica Eaton sat down with reporter Robert Welbourn for an interview to discuss the future of financial crime, and how the fintech industry should respond.

During their conversation, Monica and Robert discussed her background, the founding of Chargebacks911, and where Monica thinks the fintech space is headed in coming years.
“The most important thing is to make sure that we protect our consumers. If they don’t feel secure, they’re not going to transact, and then nobody makes any money,” Monica explains. “However, as fraud continues to evolve, how does a consumer know what data to provide?... That is exactly what we do. We’re masters at taking these very complex data sets and bringing them to life in a simple, standardized structure. We also apply automation to the process; of course, in the chargeback process there’s always going to need to be some element of human input, but we’ve automated a significant amount of the process to resolve disputes efficiently.”
As Robert notes, fraud continues to develop and change. It’ll always require education, tech, and fighting back to curtail this ever-evolving problem.
