We continued our commitment to supporting Bay Area students in 2026 by supporting The Backpack Lady Project for our fourth consecutive year.
We donated $1,000 worth of backpacks, glue, crayons, pencils, notebooks, markers, and more. The Chargebacks911 team also helped by joining in on the effort of packing more than 1,400 backpacks with those and other supplies — all to help provide children in need across the Tampa Bay Area with the essentials needed to equip them for success in the upcoming school year.
The Backpack Lady Project is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring children have the school supplies they need to succeed. Through its annual backpack and school supply initiatives, the organization helps equip students from families facing financial challenges with essential classroom materials, helping them begin the school year prepared and confident.
“Every kid deserves to start the school year with the tools they need to succeed,” said Kelley Hewett, Administration Support Manager at Chargebacks911. “The Backpack Lady Project does important work to make sure that no kid will have to go without those basic necessities because of financial circumstances. I’m proud that we can support their mission and the families they serve.”
By contributing directly to organizations such as The Backpack Lady Project, Chargebacks911 aims to support initiatives that have a tangible impact on children and families in the community. “Supporting children and investing in our local community are important parts of our corporate responsibility efforts,” added Chargebacks911 CEO Monica Eaton “I’m grateful for the opportunity that we have to help prepare students for a successful school year, and I’m especially proud of our team for continuing to find meaningful ways to give back.”
