We Donated $123,000 to Support Paid for Grades in 2022!

Paid for Grades, a Chargebacks911 passion project led by COO and Co-Founder Monica Eaton, was spotlighted in a WTSP article covering the program’s most recent awards ceremony. The program celebrated a record 123 students, each of whom took home a $500 award for improving their GPAs.

10 Tampa Bay is a broadcast channel that has served the Tampa Bay area since 1965. They’re known for the award-winning investigative reporting of the 10 Investigates team, while also presenting important news and weather updates to keep Bay Area viewers informed on a daily basis.

This marks the tenth year of Paid for Grades. The program works by pairing students up with mentors who tutor them throughout the year. In the end, students are $500 if they make it to the end of the program having passed all necessary benchmarks.

2022 marks the largest class of students to successfully complete Paid for Grades in the program's history. The students aren't the only ones receiving money, either. Each mentor and participating school received a check, as well. All totaled, we gave $123,000 to support students' educational aspirations this year.

“I couldn’t be prouder of our 2022 graduates,” Monica responded in a public statement. “These incredible, hardworking students had to overcome social disruptions, economic hardships, and a global pandemic, and they still managed to complete the PFG curriculum. I know these young men and women will continue to do great things both in and out of the classroom.”
