“For me, it all comes back to building… building something exciting.” Inspiring words from Eric Hoffman, who recently joined Chargebacks911 as our new President of Interbank Solutions and Board Member. Eric recently he took a few minutes to speak with us about his history, his passions, and his goals for the company.
Eric arrived at Chargebacks911 straight from Apple, where he served as Director of Apple Pay Business Development. His new position will focus on launching and leading strategic initiatives as part of our global market strategy. But, he’s most excited about rolling up his sleeves and getting his hands dirty (metaphorically speaking, of course).
“I was really looking for an opportunity to get back into building,” he explained. “When I first talked to Monica, the program she outlined for me was an opportunity to be directly involved in helping conceptualize and create a spectacular product.”
No stranger to creating the spectacular, Eric was one of the first employees hired by Apple to scale Apple Pay. At Cb911, he’ll be driving interbank solutions, a new outreach designed to bring value not only to merchants, but card issuers and acquirers as well.
Eric doesn’t expect to do this alone, though. “The success that I’ve seen working with businesses, it really comes from great teamwork and collaboration,” he says. “I like to say that when a product or service comes to market, nobody really owns anything. It takes an army, or a team. Success is always going to be a group effort.”
