Because of its close proximity to Halloween, the Chargebacks911 Haunted House at Money20/20 USA 2024 proved to be an unforgettable experience, combining creativity and strategic engagement. Attendees were drawn to our booth by the "zombies" (Cb911 employees) roaming the trade show floor with tattered clothes that featured QR codes on their backs, which led to a delightfully spooky Rick Roll video informing participants where to find the haunted house, ensuring steady traffic to our booth.

Inside the haunted house, visitors were immersed in a "Don’t Fear Chargebacks" experience, blending eerie visuals, strobe lights, jump scares, and even a painting that jumped out at visitors. A standout feature was the opportunity for participants to receive a video of their haunted house experience emailed to them, providing both a memorable keepsake and an additional method of lead capture. The videos became a viral conversation starter among attendees, further amplifying booth traffic and engagement. Our staff, outfitted in eye-catching skull shirts, enhanced the spooky theme while discussing with attendees their business and possible chargeback issues.

The haunted house concept generated a 50% increase in leads compared to the previous year’s record, setting a new benchmark for Money20/20 activations. Additionally, dozens of on- and off-site solution demos were scheduled directly as a result of this campaign, showcasing the direct impact of the booth's creative approach.

Chargebacks911 made history with the first-ever haunted house at Money20/20, elevating the standard for trade show activations. This campaign not only showcased our innovative spirit but also effectively conveyed our expertise and services in a fun, engaging, and highly memorable way.

Eventmarketer.com even showcased Chargebacks911’s fiendish concept in a glowing feature story, “Steal-Worthy Exhibit Experience Ideas from Money 20/20 USA 2024,” declaring it a “full on haunted house.” The article included over five different photos of the Chargebacks911 ghouls and demons — more than any other exhibit.
