Monica Eaton’s Top Tip for Working Remotely

Chargebacks911® COO & Other Execs Offer Key Tips for The Daily Scrawl

Millions of workers may be struggling to adjust to remote work in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. In response, Monica and 52 of her fellow executives shared their insights on the topic in a new feature for The Daily Scrawl.

The Daily Scrawl publishes content on a variety of subjects, including business leadership, finance, education, entertainment, and more. Rather than rely on staff, the guests chosen to write for the site are all experts in their chosen field.

One of the most difficult parts of working remotely is time management. You want to avoid distractions throughout the day; at the same time, you also don’t want to blur the line between work and home life too much. Otherwise, you could find yourself facing burnout and a lack of motivation.

“My number one tip for staying productive while working from home is to be intentional about taking breaks throughout the day,” Monica says. Knowing when to step away from the computer for a few minutes doesn’t seem like an important skill at first glance. But, it can be the difference between success and failure when working from home.

“It’s important that you give yourself a rest from being in ‘work’ mode. Rather than sitting at your workstation or browsing the internet, I suggest stepping away from your computer or workstation. A change of scenery always helps me feel rested and gives me the boost I need to get back to work.
