Along with eight of her fellow thought leaders, Monica helped shed some light on the current state of blockchain technology.

Blockchain is best known for its association with cryptocurrency. However, the technology offers several other applications, too, including security and faster, more efficient payments. Monica and her fellow panelists were asked to provide their insight on where the technology seems to be headed.
“For instance, institutional banks like JP Morgan are just now starting to explore blockchain adoption for the purpose of interbank payments,” Monica explains. “This would allow for instantaneous payments settling within the minimal risk of error as compared to the existing automated clearinghouse (ACH) process.”
