The Paid for Grades initiative is an innovative scheme aimed at motivating students to maximize their academic abilities. This program allowed ninth-grade students from Boca Ciega High School, Lakewood High School, and Hollins High School in South Pinellas County to earn monetary rewards by enhancing their educational performance. Through the program, students discovered that they could accomplish more than they initially believed possible.
“I started doing my work," Hollins High School student Urijah Conklin said. "Getting it over with and not letting any other people stop me in that class.”
Hundreds of students have completed the Paid for Grades program since 2013. And, as the primary financial backers of the program, Chargebacks911 have contributed more than $1.5 million to local students and schools through Paid for Grades.
“If you change the life of one student, that has such an amazing effect, it could change the life of an entire generation,” Monica explained.
