Chargebacks911® Exec Earns Major Industry Honor for Payments Innovation
Chargebacks911 Co-Founder and COO Monica Eaton has been selected as a finalist for the “Payments Woman of the Year” title. This latest honor recognizes the new technologies introduced by the company in the past year, and the leadership Monica provided through 2018’s immense industry shake-up.
The EWPN Awards are presented by the European Women Payments Network. The awards recognize the organizations and individuals who’ve done most to contribute and push for positive change in the payments industry. If that’s the case, then Monica certainly fits the bill here.
How to Stay Ahead of the Innovation Curve
Just in the last year, Monica’s provided essential leadership as Chargebacks911 scaled, took on new major clients, moved to a much larger office space, and rolled-out new technologies in response to major industry changes. We are an official Visa facilitator, setting Chargebacks911 apart as one of the few service providers adapted to the post-Visa Claims Resolution environment. All of this—and much more—is a direct product of Monica’s vision.
Everything we do at Chargebacks911 helps push the industry forward... Our primary goal is to deliver value to our customers. To do that, we have to always advance our technological edge and challenge false, preconceived notions within payments.
The payments industry is changing fast. That’s great news, as many of the sector’s established norms and practices are out of date and unresponsive to the realities of the eCommerce environment. Chargebacks, for example, were first introduced more than 40 years ago, and they haven’t changed much over that time.
“With industry policy changes like Visa Claims Resolution and the PSD2, payments regulation is finally catching up with the realities of the market,” Monica continued. “We just have to be sure that we’re staying a step ahead of that change, which has always been our standard as an organization.”
