Apple Wallet
Apple Wallet is a digital app created and operated by Apple. Working with other Apple payment products (specifically Apple Pay), it gives users a secure way for users to make contactless and in-app transactions without the need for physical cards or cash.
Users upload details of their eligible cards (credit cards, debit cards, and other card-based information such as IDs, event tickets, boarding passes, and so on) to their device. Whenever the device has been unlocked by the user, Apple Wallet reads the information through Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. Besides payments with participating merchants, users can also store corporate badges, access ID cards, and even keys to homes, cars, or hotel rooms, granting them approved access with just a tap.
