At Chargebacks911, we take pride in helping those who represent the best of our community to do what they do through our weekly Take Charge for Charity challenge. With the holidays approaching, though, we wanted to do something a little special this week. That’s why we decided to work with our friends at Feeding Tampa Bay to help feed Bay Area families in need!
Last Friday, Chargebacks911 team members Justin Clements and Victoria Mello dropped off 279 pounds of turkeys at the organization’s new, state-of-the-art Causeway Center in Tampa. Our contribution will ultimately provide 233 holiday meals to our neighbors that are facing food insecurity this Thanksgiving.
Precarity in access to food has been made even more acute this year in the wake of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, with thousands of local families still struggling to recover. Our donation will play a small — but crucial — part in ensuring that those families can have a happy holiday this year!
