The Chargebacks911 team supported The Voices for Children Holiday Toy Shop again this year, donating thousands of dollars worth of children’s bikes to kids in need in our community!
The folks at Voices for Children have been dedicated to providing support, necessities, and transformative experiences crucial for the well-being and happiness of thousands of children in foster care in the Tampa Bay region since 1986. The organizers believe “every child deserves the chance to feel like a kid” — especially around the holidays.
More than 3,000 kids in Hillsborough County will be spending this holiday season in foster care. In response, Voices for Children are hosting the Holiday Toy Shop, where advocates can shop for foster kids and ensure that no child goes without a gift under the tree!
“As a kid, being separated from family, and not understanding why, is a very traumatic experience. It’s even worse during the holidays,” says Chargebacks911 CEO Monica Eaton. “I’m so proud that we’re able to help stock the shelves at the Holiday Toy Shop, and ensure that these deserving kids can still have a happy holiday.”
