Monica Eaton's Industry Insight Featured in Fintech Times

Chargebacks911® COO Shares her Perspective on Finding Success in Fintech

Chargebacks911 COO Monica Eaton is a passionate advocate for greater representation of women in fintech. In a recent feature for the Fintech Times, Monica and several of her fellow fintech execs were asked to share their insights as part of a campaign to champion female voices in the payments space.

The Fintech Times is a bimonthly publication exploring the explosive world of financial technology. They blend first-hand insight, opinions, and expertise with observational journalism to provide a balanced and comprehensive perspective of this rapidly evolving industry.

As Monica notes, the fintech space is a dynamic and fast-moving industry. It’s an exciting place to be, but it can also be dangerous to those who are unwilling to adapt.

“I am lucky to have found a niche that will be important for the foreseeable future, but technological and legal changes can make any business unviable if they are not willing to pivot,” she says. “If your financial expectations are tied to everything staying the same, especially in industries that move as fast as finance and technology, then you’re setting yourself up for disappointment.”

Monica sites this culture of adaptability and a willingness to embrace change as being at the core of Chargebacks911’s success. “That has been the key reason that Chargebacks911 has grown from 11 employees to over 300 and 45,000 customers around the world – and we’re still growing,” she says.
