About the Women in IT Awards

Now in their third year, the Women in IT Awards are dedicated to honoring success and thought leadership in IT and related fields. Presented by Information Age in partnership with Amazon Web Services, the awards are open to all women who conduct business within the UK in a relevant field.

The event enjoys the support of a broad coalition of trade associations, private companies, celebrities, and policy makers. A dozen senior and C-level representatives of well-known institutions such as GE Capital, Fujitsu, Cambridge University Press, Provident Financial and SalesForce were invited to judge the competition.

More than 1,000 guests and honorees will attend this year’s event, making it the largest technology-related diversity event in history. The event’s goals are very much in-line with our own commitment to building a dynamic and diverse organization. As Gavin Jackson of Amazon Web Services explains, “Gender diversity in business helps drive innovation, gives business a better understanding of customers, and means you can always hire and develop the best talent.” We couldn’t agree more.

Chargebacks911 would like to thank theWomen in IT Awards judges for this honor, as well as Information Age for their support in recognizing the important contributions of women in technology.
