Raising Funds to Support the Cardenas Family
As ongoing supporters of the Clearwater Chargers Soccer Club, we’re saddened to report on a loss in the Chargers family.
Alfonso Cardenas was a devoted father of three and a beloved member of the community. As a long-time member of the club, he played an important part in mentoring young players and instilling in them the values of leadership, compassion, and self-confidence.
On August 2, Alfonso passed away due to complications from COVID-19, leaving behind three children. Having already lost their mother several years earlier, Alfonso’s family members now face unimaginable challenges in processing their grief while also contending with financial responsibilities.
A GoFundMe was set up to help support Alfonso’s children with their potential financial burdens, as well as provide for basic necessities and support their future educational aspirations. We at Chargebacks911® were thankful for the opportunity to chip in and help support this initiative and attempt to honor Alfonso’s legacy.
