Airline industry fraud experts have requested Chargebacks911’s COO to present at the upcoming Canada Travel Fraud Prevention Group meeting.
This relatively young organization met for the first time in July 2016. However, the ambitious project they’ve undertaken—to create a standardized approach to travel fraud in the Canadian market—is a commendable and highly-important venture.
Working in coordination with the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies, IATA brings together thought leaders, airline representatives and travel agents for a day dedicated to improving the international travel environment.
Monica Eaton-Cardone’s presentation is targeted at educating CTFPG members on the topic of friendly fraud, as well as providing strategies to best contend with this evolving threat within the travel industry. This will include:
- Identifying and preventing friendly fraud attacks
- Contrasting the unique characteristics of friendly fraud against criminal fraud
- Establishing internal chargeback and fraud management
- Sharing comprehensive fraud data
Our team of chargeback experts is more than happy to discuss these matters or to address any other questions you may have regarding chargebacks in the travel industry. If you’d like to get in touch with one of our representatives, contact email@example.com to arrange a meeting.
