Monica Eaton Discusses Chargebacks & Current Trends in the Marketplace
Chargebacks911 COO Monica Eaton recently spoke with the staff at Financial IT magazine to discuss forecasts for the chargeback space in a post-COVID environment.

In the interview, Monica touched briefly on the main reasons she started Chargebacks911. She also talked about our newest brand, Fi911, aimed at providing chargeback solutions for financial institutions. However, a large part of the interview focuses on the main obstacles we should expect to see in the marketplace following the COVID-19 outbreak.
During the pandemic, we have seen chargeback grow rapidly,” Monica explains, “with some of the hardest-hit industries expected to experience ten times the amount [of chargeback issuances] occurring prior to the outbreak.”
Monica suggests businesses need to be well-prepared for the threats resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak. The pandemic will have long-ranging ramifications, many of which we can’t really predict with any effectiveness.
“As lockdowns are lifted around the world and the true extent of the damage caused by the pandemic is revealed, financial institutions should ensure that they’re able to combat chargebacks.”
