Monica Eaton Says You Need a Chance to Reset at the End of the Day
Chargebacks911® COO Monica Eaton knows from experience the pressure that you feel when you’re launching a business. This same experience extends outside the C-Suite, though. In response, she offered her insight to others as part of a recent feature for GOBankingRates.
When GOBankingRates launched in 2004, their goal was to make finding competitive interest rates easier for the average consumer. Today, they offer this and much more, giving consumers and businesses the insights and expertise they need to make the most of their resources.
Having the hustle and wherewithal to keep up a hectic work schedule is key to finding success. Many of us want to stay productive to ensure we land that next raise, promotion, or other opportunities. However, it’s also important to be able to compartmentalize, and know when it’s time to step back for a moment. As Monica explains in the piece, “There’s a time and place for hard work.”
Taking time to unwind and focus away from work is incredibly important. This will allow you to avoid burnout, and ensure that you can stay ahead of the game in the long-term.
We all need to take time to relax, spend time with family, and engage in activities that aren’t work-related. As Monica says, it’s good to grind, “but always remember that at the end of the day, the best thing you can do is step back and give yourself a chance to reset.” This will ensure better results in the end.
